To offer you infusion therapy, APRC HOME CARE must do more than just provide medicines directly to your vein. Our services are designed to be as convenient and comfortable as possible for our patients while also using the expertise of our nursing and pharmaceutical teams. Patients who need intravenous medicine may get it in the privacy and comfort of their own homes or private treatment rooms.
APRC Infusion Services, as a division of APRC HOME CARE, offers excellent resources for IV treatment. Patients benefit from the additional security and comfort that comes with knowing that a certified expert will always see them.
Our registered nurses are certified in chemotherapy and PICC and have an average of eight to 10 years of infusion experience. Their skill helps to minimize needlestick restarts, infections, and other intravenous (IV) problems.
Suites for Infusion.
At APRC Home Care, we treat our patients as individuals, not as statistics. We provide pleasant suites for individuals receiving infusion treatment. Private treatment rooms are available; each room is equipped with lounge chairs, televisions, DVD players, and CD players to enhance the patient's experience.
Our location offers convenient infusion services access. Parking is available just outside our front door, and there is no need to register for each visit.
Registered pharmacists are on-site to help patients who have questions about medicines or health concerns. All patients are evaluated before, during, and after infusion, and an individualized treatment plan is developed for everyone.
IV Therapies Are Available : Infusion at Home
Patients who need intravenous (IV) medicine may get it in the comfort of their own homes. The infusion team collaborates closely with the physician, patient, and caregiver to offer medication treatments and support that assist patients in returning to regular activities more quickly and with fewer limitations. Home infusion therapies are as safe, effective, and cost-efficient as inpatient therapy.
Pharmacists, nutritionists, and registered nurses, all of whom have had extensive training in PICC, chemotherapy, and nutritional therapies, make up our home infusion team. The team evaluates and monitors the patient at home and teaches and training the patient and caregiver about the treatment. We use cutting-edge infusion treatment technology and coordinate all professional services, including dietary evaluations and laboratory tests. Additionally, we provide on-call nursing and pharmaceutical services 24 hours a day.
Pharmaceutical Therapies & Services: Insurance Protection
Hospitalization expenses may be reduced by as much as 50% with home infusion therapy. The vast majority of treatments administered in infusion suites are covered by commercial insurance and Medicaid programs.
Medicare does not cover some infusion therapies because they are considered experimental. Infusion therapy provided in an ambulatory infusion facility is not paid for in treatment rooms that patients require IV therapy. We may use the infusion suites for lab draws and line care if a Medicare beneficiary has supplementary insurance but does not meet the criteria for in-home treatment due to their inability to be homebound.
